Meet The Trainers
George
George has been a professional dog trainer for over four decades. During that time, he has personally supervised the training of nearly 15 thousand dogs and their owners. George has more than a dozen certifications and has directed the training of several nationally recognized competition dogs. He was inducted into the International Association of Canine Professionals member Hall of Fame in 2012. He's been with DogiZone® since its founding.
Jessica
Jessica has been with DogiZone® from the beginning and is currently the leader of the Training Department. She's an accomplished trainer and has learned from some of the best in the industry. She's attended numerous seminars and workshops with the likes of the world recognized Monks of New Skete and others. Jessica is a Professional Member and Certified Dog Trainer with the International Association of Canine Professionals and an evaluator with the American Kennel Club. When not training at DogiZone®, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their three dogs at their home in Damascus.
Milton
Milton has been a professional dog trainer for 2 years. Prior to becoming a dog trainer, Milton spent over 3 years learning about dog behavior and body language. Milton currently owns one dog, Gorgar, a Pomeranian Mix. His favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever. He became passionate about working with dogs and their parents after seeing how much of an impact we as humans have on our canine companions, and how they have an impact on us.
Candice
Dogs have always been a part of Candice's life. She grew up with a white German Shepherd constantly by her side. When looking for a dog of her own after college, she fell in love with Corgis and currently has two of them. While working a corporate job full time, Candice also used her artistic skills to create pottery for pet lovers. She recently left corporate life to join the training turf and continue her life with dogs. She has a Certificate in Professional Dog Training from Montgomery University and wants to help all dogs and owners forge a bond for a lifetime.
Shannon
Shannon is a dog lover through and through and enjoys interacting with her furry friends at work and at home every day. She started at DogiZone® as a Pet Care Technician in 2018 but quickly became a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) and worked her way up in the Training department. She loves to help dogs reach their fullest potential in fitness and Obedience. She has two dogs of her own: a 15-year-old Min Pin and a 7-month-old Boxer mix puppy.
Kayla
This is Kayla! She decided that training was for her while working at DogiZone® as a Pet Care Technician and Playcademy® Coach. Spending time with all the dogs, especially working with the Playcademy® pups, is what really made her fall in love with them and training! If she absolutely had to choose, her favorite dog breed would be a Siberian Husky because she grew up with one.
